People come for treatment for many different reasons:

- as a means of support during difficult times, such as grief, work-related stress or the break up of a relationship

- for acute or short term problems such as sports injuries, morning sickness during pregnancy, teething problems in babies or glandular fever
or other viruses

- becuse they feel generally unwell, have low resistance to infections or feel out of balance during the menopause

- as a way of maintaining good health

In short, Homeopathy is suitable for all ages from birth to old age and all kinds of conditions!

How much does treatment cost?
From July 2008, the initial 90 minute consultation costs £75 for an adult and £65 for a child.
Follow up appointments are £45 for an adult and £35 for a child and last up to 45 minutes.
The fees include the cost of the homeopathic remedy.
I usually see people monthly to start with, depending on the nature of their condition and then extend that interval as improvement continues.

A growing number of medical insurance companies cover homeopathic treatment. For the current list please click here

How long will treatment take?
This varies with the individual. Recent complaints can improve very rapidly, while long established conditions may take some time.
It is a good idea to consider coming for three months initially, particularly if you have had your symptoms a long while. This allows enough time to make a realistic assessment of your response to the remedies and the value of the treatment to you.

What about seeing my doctor or consultant?
It is wise to stay in good contact with your GP as he or she is able to arrange any diagnostic tests you may need and is able to offer 24 hour cover.
If you are already taking prescribed medicines, it is advisable to tell your doctor you are seeing a homeopath. I am happy to talk or write to them about homeopathy and explain that the remedies cannot interfere with conventional medical treatment.
