Before I discovered homeopathy, I worked as a pharmacist in hospitals in England, Canada and Australia. I came to Cardiff in 1973 to study for my Masters degree in Pharmacology. I was then appointed as Principal Pharmacist of the Welsh Medicines Information Service, based at the University Hospsital of Wales here in Cardiff, where I worked for nine years.I started my training at the School of Homeopathy in Devon in 1982 and was accepted onto the register of the Society of Homeopaths in 1987. I am fully insured with the Society and subject to their Code of Ethics. I have also studied at the School for Advanced Homeopathic Studies in Malvern. I attend seminars and conferences to keep my knowledge up to date, I have regular supervision and I meet my fellow homeopathic practitioners locally on a monthly basis.
I have twice been elected Chair of the Society of Homeopaths and have also been the Professional Conduct Director. I currently teach at the London School of Classical Homeopathy. From 1995 until 2008 I was a member of the government's Advisory Board on the Registration of Homeopathic Products.
